The joke was on me ….

I am an accomplished time waster. Which is why it took me five (count ‘em 1 2 3 4 5) years to frame these two cards and get them hung in the guest bedroom. Finally.

And yet, at the same time, I can be tenacious. Once I start something that I am interested in, I become focused solely on seeing it through to the conclusion. Which is how we ended up being HBO subscribers over the weekend. (Sorry if you were expecting something deeper than television. Bear with me.) I simply was not able to watch 15 episodes of In Treatment and then call it quits. I needed to know what happened to Laura, Sophie …. yes, even Alex. And so on Saturday afternoon, my only question of Comcast was “Okay, so when you activate our HBO subscription, how long will it take until I can watch it?” Um, less than a minute. I’m now on week 6. And I watched The Good Shepherd (almost three hours!) on Sunday. This On Demand thing is pretty cool.

Gotta go. Sophie’s up next.

Until tomorrow, from spring break with snow and lots of tv land.

Ah yes, the famous eventualies of life. :) Kudos for getting your project done. In the end, the important thing is that we get things done, right?

I never turn on my television but the other weekend I went to my parent’s house and they have this giant TV with like 700 channels and On Demand. And I could not quit ordering movies and watching Martha Stewart On Demand. So… I totally get it:)
