Boston Magazine has “The Obsessive’s Guide to the 2009 Red Sox” online right now. I will be studying up in hopes that by Monday, I will know 1/10 of what my 11-year-old seems to learn while asleep. Wish me luck.
This linen dress (in the sage grey @ right) is perfection, too. I’m imagining a warm summer evening having a nice, leisurely dinner outdoors. Maybe even some crickets chirping. When will that weather arrive?

Alice Melvin has the most fantastic guide to Edinburgh. It includes a map, a shopping guide, and space to include your own favorite activities. (Don’t you wish more cities were available?) See more of her whimsical work at her website and Etsy shop. Do not miss the Cut Out and Dress Mr and Mrs Peg.

Fortnum & Mason has some lovely Easter items at their new US online shop. The egg & spoon race hamper is my personal favorite. (It comes with a finish line ribbon!)

Just to step inside [...]
Happy Friday! As you can see, I managed to locate some ranunculus at a lovely little flower shop in Evanston. Too far for the impulse buy, but definitely worth a stop whenever I’m in the area. (Gotta check out Dick Blick from time to time.)

The perfect spring tablescape, from Williams-Sonoma. (I made something very similar to this last year, and love it. It’s still on display.)
