I had been meaning to check out Birchwood Kitchen all summer, and so it was serendipity when we went to pick up the kitchen ceiling paint and saw it just a couple of doors away. If you’re in Chicago, you really must go. Simply fresh + yummy sandwiches (and excellent chocolate chip cookies: I’m beginning to think I should write a field guide for chocolate chip cookies and Birchwood Kitchen’s are right up there.)
