Snippets from London: Tom’s Kitchen

mac & cheese with black truffles

As anyone who has travelled with me can attest, I am a tenacious researcher. When it comes to meals, I have a list a mile long filled with cafes and lunch spots. When it comes to dinner, I’m a bit of a flake. Thankfully, fate intervened for Friday’s dinner when I realized we were a very short walk away from Tom’s Kitchen and it was on my “list”. A glass of wine and some yummy comfort food. Problem solved. The restaurant is tucked away on a quiet street in Chelsea and it made for a most delightful evening out. (We passed a park with soccer games going on under the lights as we made our way back to the hotel, and my son was most impressed.)

fish & chips for my buddy (gotta do it!)
