The opposite of minimalism (or perhaps, its accessory)

For all of my clothing minimalism (jeans/teeshirt/cute flats), my head is turned by ornate necklaces. And so Tuesday’s Daily Candy Atlanta (why not read them all?) had me happily clicking through the portfolio of Katherine Dejarnette Babin. Her company, Dejarnette New Orleans has some luxe and funky (and gorgeous!) looking pieces. The ones featured here I’m wanting for myself. The “juliet” would work well with the jeans/tee look, I think. “The highest number” works well with my mathiness, and I pretty much love every piece in the “objet trouve” line. I’ve bookmarked the site to return for gifting, and to avoid any spoiled surprise, you’ll just have to guess which those are.

See you tomorrow.

By the way, yes, it was another sunny, spectacular summer day here. Thought you might be tired of the “I’m so happy!” reporting. Don’t worry, it’s supposed to rain and storm today.
