biz ladies legal break out session
I’m back from Boston, and had an even better than expected time. The Biz Ladies meetup was lots of fun. The evening started with food + mingling, and a table full of cool business cards. So glad I had mine to hand out. :) Next followed a rotation through four break-out groups that met to discuss PR, website setup, legal issues, and the fourth, moderated by Urban Living Studio, which I did not make it to. (I got caught up in conversations.) I did manage to meet Grace, who is as nice, composed and uber-organized in person as she is via email. If the D*S tour hits your hometown, be sure to go. Or, work ahead by downloading notes from prior meetups at Design Sponge’s Biz Ladies site.
Also, during the website break-out, I mentioned that the Wall Street Journal published an article on how to create your own site on the cheap. It was published last Monday (August 11) in its Small Business section. And hooray! You can read it at wsj.com.

the meet-up sounds so great! i now regret not going to the baltimore meet-up a few weeks ago [just way too crazy of a week + didn’t have it me to drive 2 hours one-way]. thanks for the reminder that notes are available for download!
