I’m still plugging away at reduce reduce reduce (with a little reuse and recycle thrown in for good measure). Going forward, one thing I’m planning to cut back on for 2009 is magazine subscriptions. I love when magazines arrive in my mailbox (some might say a little too much) but I spend waaaaay too much time reading them all. I’ve already cancelled one and I have a couple others that I just will not be renewing when the time comes. Not to worry, Martha Weddings, Domino, Vogue, C, Elle Decor ….. you’re all safe. And the upside? I can actually get to some books! For example, yesterday I finally started Atonement.

Good for you! It will feel good not to have the huge pile of magazines and the pressure to read them all. And Atonement was probably my favorite book last year. Enjoy!
