A couple of new books I have my eye on are BNN’s Tokyo Shop Identity and Sanrio Days. I am sure the Tokyo book will make me want to drive straight to the airport + visit Japan. And as a proud member of the Hello Kitty Club as a kid, Sanrio Days would have memories flooding back. (I’m already thinking about Kitty, Mimmy + the Little Twin Stars.) Both books are available through Amazon. I may just order both as a birthday gift to me, from me.

Japan is wonderful. Everyone is polite. And the city is impeccably clean and organized. And yes, hello kitty abounds!
Sanrio days? Wonderful. I have a Hello Kitty necklace that I love. I’m 53, BTW…
