This year, I think I was excited about my hotel as I was the Stationery Show. And no wonder, since I splurged on a room at the Crosby Street Hotel, part of London’s Firmdale group of boutique hotels. When I got to my room and saw the view, I didn’t want to leave. Floor to ceiling paned windows will do that.
Every detail was considered from room decor to service to food to stationery to the-best-hotel-hairdryer-I’ve-ever-experienced, and it left me completely charmed. (Even brought back a stripey pencil for my buddy.) Can’t wait to go back.
You can see more photos from my stay at the Crosby Street Hotel at my Flickr set. The blog Privilege also featured a comprehensive and very favorable review.
