Snippets from London: The School of Life

While The School of Life was officially on holiday during our visit, we managed to have a quick look around, as there were a couple of employees working in their back offices. Inside, the School is spare but spectacular, aided by the keen design of Susanna Edwards and Joseph Harries. (Isn’t the gift wrap fab?) I bought two wooden tokens as a keepsake: one for my buddy (good “for playing one game”) and one for me (for a coffee/tea date). I left wishing I lived in London so I could take advantage of a class or two. Instead, I’ll have to continue to substitute their excellent (and thought provoking) blog. With topics ranging from regret, to talent, to creativity, it’s especially fun when author Alain de Botton weighs in, as he is one of my all-time favorite writers.
