A new magazine has charmed/earned its way onto my short list: Vogue Living Australia. Not only is it beautifully designed, but the mix of stories is nearly perfect: features from Australia to entice (like I need more enticement to visit) combined with US and European stories that make me feel in the know. Here are a few gems from the most recent issue:
An in-depth look how John Derian lives. Lots and lots of beautiful photos. I am such a fan of his.
Lime Wood, an English luxury hotel that has me longing to get back to London asap, and then head out to the country for an escape. Was drawn in (again) by the gorgeous photography, and most pleased to learn that Ben Pentreath had a hand in the architecture. (No wonder I liked it!)
An Australian flower company, Urban Crop, where you buy living, breathing plants off a truck! (Simply gorgeous and love the concept!)
Keep an eye out: this issue should be making its way to US newsstands in the next few weeks. (The only drawback to Aussie magazine love is the delayed gratification. The magazine is worth every penny. Can’t wait for the Nov/Dec online preview.)

how fabulous is that purple room we get a peek of?? thanks for sharing!
I studied abroad in Sydney in 2001 and have been waiting for an opportunity to go back! Of course I saved all of the magazines I purchased while I was there. I always thought the British and the Australians had the best mags.
Beautiful cover! I love the decoration in white!
