I’ve become such a fan of simple, white tableware. It goes with every setting, can be dressed up or down, and let’s face it: Instagram shots of croissants look better when said croissant isn’t competing with a pattern for attention. Since moving to London, I’ve become attached to my Emma Bridgewater Utility dishes, and I know many of you love them too, as I field “Where can I purchase?” inquiries whenever I feature them. Sadly, they were discontinued some time ago, and despite my pleading (or perhaps because of my pleading?) for more Utility, there seems to be no plans to revive the pattern any time soon.
So, I’ve been on the lookout for a replacement. Something basic, but with a bit of fun, and I think I’ve found it. March (which just happens to be one of my favorite shops ever) has just released a Monogram Tableware collection. Creamy white porcelain, in simple shapes with a touch of personality thanks to the monogram (“M” pictured). Fantastic! My only wish would be that they’d add a set of plates with March’s logo, which is a beautiful pair of Ms inside of a circle. But really, it’s all good. Thanks to March, Utilitarian Luxe® has a seat at the table.

Hi Jane. Recently stumbled upon Simple Pretty and wanted to tell you that I really enjoy reading it! Love your eye and aesthetic. March does things so well (I’ll take one of everything!) This tableware collection is simply stunning.
