I am slowly graduating from reading parenting magazines. My son turned 9 last weekend, and thus I don’t need volumes of information about potty training, ear infections, and playdate etiquette. My Child magazine subscription ended recently, and I am not renewing. However, I still pick up Cookie at the newsstand. I think the magazine’s layout is what captures my interest: it reminds me a lot of New York and the defunct Vitals magazines – cool typefaces, and interesting layouts. (Perhaps it’s also the luxury products Cookie features inside – ah, aspirational parenting!) Cookie is a gorgeous read, and today, their website has been updated, helping it look and feel more like the print version. I like it! Check Cookie out online here.
