letterpress certificate for market lane’s coffee club
Remarkable portfolio of work from Australian design firm Swear Words*. (As someone who has virtually visited Market Lane Coffee many many times, it was nice to learn who was responsible for that obsession.) Look forward to seeing more from this talented bunch.

Charmingly boyish dressing from Paul Smith. The hat lends a certain insouciance. See the complete show at Style.com.

Clever pairings of sporty jackets and pretty dresses at Acne. (A look I fully support as it is totally something I would do. My “nice” coats rarely see the light of day.) Great use of color as well. See the complete collection at Style.com.

Margaret Howell’s spring collection had a decidedly nautical bent, which doesn’t work for me as I feel like I’m wearing a costume. Not to worry, though: there were enough classic Margaret Howell looks to ensure I’ll be eagerly anticipating spring’s arrival. I’m especially taken with her deftly paired khaki ensembles: I think it’s the smidgen of black that makes it work. See the full collection at VogueUK. (And good news: looks like La Garçonne will soon be carrying the line. Hooray for us Yanks.)
