I must admit, I am all about shoes at the moment — and am particularly obsessed with slides. And so Jil Sander’s show won me over with its parade of square-toe, practical mules—flats, of course—paired with soft, minimalist silhouettes. A bit of the romance, missing since Raf Simons’ departure, is back. See the complete collection at VogueRunway.com.

Such a strong collection from Bally for spring. Look 1 grabbed me out of the gate with its clean and powerful—yet totally wearable—ensemble. (It didn’t hurt that I’ve been thinking about a wide black belt over a long white shirt all week thanks to The Line.) And no surprise, the bags and shoes are très luxe. Bravo, Pablo Coppola. Perfection. From the neckline to the textured fabric to the cross-body bag to the pointy-toe shoes. Will be stalking this dress in stores come February. See the complete collection at VogueRunway.com.

If you ever needed to see proof of the power of a good coat, may I present look 12: Barbara Casasola’s version (in timeless camel) elevates what appears to be yoga pants and a black sweater to über luxe status. Also great are Casasola’s chunky sweaters paired simple skirts. (I’d love to see more of the tie detail on the back of the skirt in look 33.) See the complete collection at VogueRunway.com.

I caught the Margaret Howell spring show streaming online this morning, and was pleased to see some more tailored looks as well as the usual relaxed, English-girl silhouette. The seamed skirt below would be the perfect addition to my running-around-town wardrobe. And while I love the whites — so fresh and summery — I hope they add more colors for retail, as keeping white clean is a full-time job. See the complete collection at VogueUK.
