This linen dress (in the sage grey @ right) is perfection, too. I’m imagining a warm summer evening having a nice, leisurely dinner outdoors. Maybe even some crickets chirping. When will that weather arrive?

I am crazy for this shirt. Love that it’s simple but will definitely dress up my jeans + flats uniform. I had to call J.Crew customer service to ask what it was and how to buy it (their website doesn’t say). It’s a May item, but I pre-ordered one for myself. (The sweater is pretty great too, but I’ve managed to restrain myself for now.)

Alice Melvin has the most fantastic guide to Edinburgh. It includes a map, a shopping guide, and space to include your own favorite activities. (Don’t you wish more cities were available?) See more of her whimsical work at her website and shop. Do not miss the Cut Out and Dress Mr and Mrs Peg.

Fortnum & Mason has some lovely Easter items at its new US online shop. The egg & spoon race hamper is my personal favorite. (It comes with a finish line ribbon!)

And that’s it for spring break day one. See you tomorrow!

check out the flowers!
Good morning! When I visit London, I will now need to add a side trip to Lewes. Flint stocks clothing, accessories, and items for the home Not only does the merchandise look enticing, but the clothing shop dates to the 1400’s, and the home store is a former chapel from the 1300’s. Just to step inside would be a treat. And bonus: Flint sells fresh flowers, too!
