My chocolate has come along. Composition, a Denver design shop, recently hosted “Perishable”, an exhibit which featured Mast Brothers Chocolate as well as many other cool products (including my favorite Bee Raw Honey). Today’s posts are definitely feeling “foodie”, so here’s another place I’d like to visit: Fraiche Yogurt, in Palo Alto, CA. Organic frozen yogurt topped with fruit? (Or maybe the oatmeal?) Sounds good to me.

I’ve been waiting (and waiting) to write about this, and the links are finally working today! Food & Wine’s December issue had a nice little feature about Green Cafes. I’ve added most of them to my places to see list – especially Grove which looks so charming from the photo that I cannot stand it. Another featured shop, Pie, is in Chicago. (Yes, I’ve visited. Cute + good stuff.) I’ll have to go back, though, now that they’re offering Jelly Girl Jenny Jams. I’d like to sample the raspberry rhubarb.
The rest of the list: Terrain at Styer’s, Flora Grubb Gardens, Sycamore, and Ze Cafe. All are visit worthy.

Candywinkel recently launched their etsy shop. Lots of beautiful options. I’m in love with the way they showcase the candy with the vintage accoutrements. Some Candywinkel would make the perfect place setting favor, stocking stuffer or “just because” gift.

Maria and Lena launched their new book, Feast, yesterday. It’s for all party-goers and food lovers, which means me. As such, I had to buy a copy tout de suite. (It would also make a great gift for the more patient people out there …..)
