I have fallen hard for Jil Sander’s grown-up (but still soft) take on pink for spring. See the complete collection via Style.com.

Ports 1961 put forward a bevy of beautiful dresses for spring. The pink dress pictured has me envisioning a spring stroll in the park under the cherry blossoms, while the white dress below is a smart choice for lunch in the city. The ombré with deep-cut bodice mixes sexy and sweet. See the complete collection at Style.com.

I recently spent a day walking Maison et Objet, and a favorite find was Belgian company When Objects Work. Director/founder Beatrice de Lafontaine collaborates with well-known architects and designers to develop home accessories that are simple and beautiful, but also functional. Among my favorites are John Pawson’s tableware and Vincent Van Duysen’s wooden bowl (both shown here).
The When Objects Work booth was an oasis of calm in the midst of trade-show-crazy: so glad I found it + their products. The epitome of utilitarian luxe.

There is just something about the Margaret Howell aesthetic: the brand is so quintessentially English, and yet it speaks to my very core. I’m over the moon that I’ll be able to pop into the Wigmore Street shop next spring when these looks are available. (I happened to be there yesterday while last-minute preparations were underway and had a very quiet moment of glee!) See the complete Spring 2014 presentation at Vogue UK.
