Thought I’d wrap up with a favorite shop: Angela Liguori/Carta Inc. has the loveliest goods (and her booth is always a wonderful bit of serenity in the madness of the show). I adore her cotton ribbons: lately I find myself reaching for the fettuccia cotton ribbons pictured above. The perfect width for all-purpose wrapping. I’m also completely smitten with her francobolli book line, a collaboration with Chicagoan (and stationer extraordinaire in her own right) Bari Zaki. Fabulously appealing combinations of colors and stamps. I found myself completely besotted with the gray book with Czech stamps pictured below. Angela was kind enough to take it down so I could get a better photo (I think I was trying to commit it to memory on the spot). Thank you, Angela!

And I love how you see the wavy lines on the stamps that reveal that they’re used, that they’ve traveled… quite lovely.
