Since it’s Fashion Week, what better than to share a letterpress artist that I found through a fashion magazine*? Anna Fewster’s work is understated, thoughtful, and exquisite: the “Bloomsbury” bookplates shown above are inspired by a stay at Charleston Farmhouse in Sussex. Also available as notecards, I love that the colors are rich and saturated and the design vaguely evokes pussy willow buds …. even though it’s actually influenced by the farmhouse’s dining room wallpaper! No matter: it’s still lovely! You can purchase the cards and bookplates through Anna’s etsy shop, and keep up to date with the buzz, latest press, and new work at her blog. (While you’re clicking around, don’t miss Anna’s own wedding invitation gallery, a snippet of which is shown : I’m always captivated by designers work when it’s personal!)
