I’ve been documenting signs of spring all week – sharing them with my aunt, and posting to Flickr. Above is #3 – my side garden and path – but what I really want is a robin photo. Robins are my favorite bird, and the idea “sign”. I saw two on the way to the bus stop on Monday, and so I thought this would be easy. I grabbed my camera to get the shot. I ast on the front stoop and patiently waited for a bird or two to land in the yard. Ha. The birds have been taunting me: sitting on rooftops and singing with glee well out of the range of my lens. I gave up after a half-hour or so. Later that day, returning home from errands, a robin was sitting in the alley, blocking my return. Seriously. And no, I did not get that shot either, so I’m off to try again. Have a great Thursday!
