If I am ever whisked off to Buenos Aires, my first stop will be Papelera Palermo, what looks to be a jewel of a paper shop, where — I think — everything is made in house, by hand. There are lovely paper and cloth bound folios, notebooks, hand-printed papers, and so on. They have a fabulous selection of paper-covered boxes, and there’s an origami section, too.

Lovely colors!
Elisabeth is absolutely right. Papelera Palermo is an awesome place where you could find beautiful papers; also you can learn to bind, to do paper, origami, calligraphy and a lot of exquisite things.
It’s a little expensive for locals, but it worth the money you pay.
Reading from Buenos Aires, love your website.
