Happy Friday! It’s hard to believe that one week ago, I was looking out at the ocean and basking in the warm sunshine, and now I’m hoping that the forecasted snow doesn’t happen. Such is April in Chicago.
On with the Five:
The photo at the top is a good representation of all the places we went in LA. It was all good – and if you’re in Santa Monica, may I strongly suggest you check out Huckleberry. Go early – it gets busy (we were there at 8am as we were running on Chicago time) but it’s heaven for a fried egg sandwich or my personal favorite, coffee & a donut. I wanted a souvenir tshirt with “coffee & donuts” on the back, but they were sold out. I will be following up on that as it was one of the softest tshirts ever. Yummy.
