Field Trip: The Paris Market

Another can’t miss location in the Low Country is Savannah’s The Paris Market & Brocante. Full of gorgeous goodies that are styled to the nth (you can just drink in the inspiration), and yet the real draw for me is the patisserie/coffee bar. Tucked in the corner, stop by to refresh with an infused water, a cookie (from Two Smart Cookies) or a french caramel. Or perhaps you’d like an espresso, served in a lovely Keith Brymer Jones cup like the one pictured above. Charming (and the driving force for my visit ever since I spotted them at Tumblr). For more pictures from my visit, click over to my Flickr set, and for a better look at the coffee bar, check out this Paris Market blog post.

easter cookies!

If you’re making a day of it in Savannah, stop for lunch at the recently opened Papillote, just down the block from The Paris Market. I highly recommend Le Parisien sandwich. It’s not only delicious, but a work of art.
