What a great weather weekend it was! Just in time for my husband’s birthday. We started with a trip to Three Tarts to pick up a gorgeous chocolate/white chocolate mousse cake (we had lunch, too, since we were there.) Then, although Saturday at the mall is not my idea of a good time, the other “man” in my life needed new jeans and khakis. Off we were for a quick Gap run, and he’s now set for fall. I think. He even selected a charcoal grey pullover. Of course, I approved!
Birthday dinner was at a local restaurant, and Sunday was the best day of all: soccer in the am, followed by lunch (yes, out again) with my in-laws, followed by just-sitting-outside-and-enjoying-weather-perfection-and-talking-to-the-neighbors. Oh, if every day could be like that ….
