Crisp, clean, colorful, classic, and oh yes, wearable. Loving every bit of Michael Kors’ pre-fall collection, especially that glorious blue. See the full collection at Style.com.

Friday Flickr Five

Happy Friday! Hard to believe that just one week ago, this was my view. (Hello, South Carolina!) And now the forecast calls for snow. Maybe a lot. I know, I know, it’s December and that’s what should be happening. It’s just that I’d rather be warm for a little bit longer ….

On with the Five:

  1. untitled
  2. The Farmshop Market & Restaurant (you have no idea how badly I want to check this place out!)

  4. the good stuff
  5. Düsseldorf | 11.29.10

Hopefully, photo #5 put you in the Christmas spirit because this seems to be the weekend for Holiday Fairs! Tonight, Portland, Maine’s Chellis Wilson brings Come Darkness 2010, curated by Maria Alexandra Vettese. (So wish I could be there.) Tomorrow, NYC hosts the Martha Stewart Holiday Craft Sale, running from 12-6 at the Starrett-Lehigh Building. And in Chicago (hooray!) this weekend is Bari Zaki’s studio sale. I look forward to it every year: maybe I’ll see you there!

And finally, the Felix Doolittle recipe card winners: congratulations Karen (comment #4) and Jessie Young (comment #15). You’ve won!! I’ve passed along your email addresses to the good folks at Felix Doolittle. Hope you enjoy your beautiful new cards.

Have filed this idea away for a stocking or two: 3-D drawing notepad, at Restoration Hardware. (They always have a quirky, original selection of gifts. Love that.)

Cheeky Oscar Wilde quotation coasters from Ben’s Garden. Pair them with a favorite bottle of wine or spirits for a festive holiday gift.
