If you’re in Portland this weekend, don’t miss the em space “Bridges” art show on Saturday night! Lots and lots of talented artists from all over the country. Sounds like a very good time. (Wish I could go.)

Hello, Friday! I’ve been waiting for you all week. There is absolutely zero on the schedule today and I’m so looking forward to just letting the day unfold. But first,
On with the Five:
Weekend plans include more of nothing (yay) and a family gathering at the lake house on Sunday. It may be sweatshirt weather but that is fine by me. In fact, that would be ideal: sitting on the dock with a sweatshirt on, dipping my toes in the water.
See you back here Monday.

Alan Dye, a creative director at Apple, is featured in the August “food” issue of Print magazine. (previewed at Eat Me Daily) I am really drawn to the framed menus (& accoutrements) on the wall behind him. (The mac & cheese with champage isn’t bad, either!) Hoping for a better photo when the new Print magazine website goes live.

This cardigan just popped back up in J.Crew’s new arrivals. (It was there last week, then gone – I panicked, and now it’s back.) All I know is that I love it. And the two available colors are perfect, too: heather carbon and buff pink. The perfect cool summer evening toss-on.

A most yummy discovery from my corner grocer (aka Super Target) is Pop Chips. Barbeque potato chips are my salty snack trigger, and these are especially good.
