Isn’t this birth announcement for baby Otto darling? It will be featured in Print Magazine’s regional design annual this November. (Always fun to flip through that issue.)
Congratulations to the ladies at Sideshow Press!

“daydreaming”

close up
A bit of eye candy for you this morning that warrants the large photos. I discovered graphic designer Kate LaMere’s work while flipping through the latest issue of Creative Quarterly, and I’m completely taken with the colors and details and materials in this piece from her book “Apparatus for Daydreaming”. Hope you are, too. If you’d like to see more from Kate, please visit her lovely blog, Life in the Land of Sweet Tea.

Oh. my. word. I am making a beeline to the Fresh store when I’m in Boston this weekend and picking up one of these ….. it’s like they read my mind.

The math and school supply geek in me has fallen hard for these oilcloth pencil cases from Anna Betts for madebyanna. They are fabulous, and I had to add Anna’s shop to my reader so as not to miss an update. (I love her paper collages as well.)

I’m quite eager to taste Milton Point Sweet’s CrumbDaddies, as I think the concept of crumbcake topping cookies is brilliant. Their sablés look fantastic as well. (yessiree, I like my butter + flour + sugar)
