Ambre‘s line of body products are 100% natural and made by hand in small batches, which allows the ingredients to shine. The bath oil and body scrub are especially striking, but you can see the full range at the Ambre online shop.

The couture shows are out of reach for most of us, but thanks to the internet, we all can have a glimpse at where fashion is heading. I promise that I’m not going to start covering the couture shows in earnest, but I had to share a few looks from the Christian Dior fall collection. It’s the début from designer Raf Simons, and I’m quite impressed with how he seemed to meld his minimalistic view, so brilliantly honed at Jil Sander, with the Dior aesthetic. He makes me want to (finally!) try wearing a strapless gown with a super-fitted bodice. Don’t miss any of the 55 looks: click over to the complete show at Style.com.

There’s no question: summer (and a seemingly endless heat wave) is here. The upside is it forces you to slow down, to notice. The days feel longer. Time to give in and embrace it.
Enjoy some of my favorite Flickr photos, discovered in June:
I’m in a stripey mood of late, and these dresses from Albino suit me perfectly. See the full resort presentation at Style.com (including a very sweet non-stripey party dress).
