Happy Friday! It’s been hot + humid here this week, so much so that my sunglasses fog up when I go outside. Time to slow down and think about water: living near it, drinking it, the cooling sensation of rain ….
On with the Five:
- one of my faves
- Finnish summer
- shells from maine
- Fogy details
- untitled
Don’t you just want to head out to the nearest waterfront right now? I do. Have a splendid weekend.

vintage kennel club
Pleased as punch to have discovered letterpress artist Elizabeth Hubbell is blogging! (and at Facebook) I’ve been a fan of Elizabeth’s work forever, and it’s so wonderful to get a peek at what’s new, as well as get to “know” her a bit. She’s vacationing in the south of France right now, and her watercolor dispatches are a particular delight.

sugar paper’s signature pink
Those of you who are used to Sugar Paper‘s signature pink wall at the Brentwood Country Mart may want to head on over this month to see what’s new. The theme is “California Sunshine” and they’re mixing it up! Read on to see the change in photos:

the navy really makes the framed invites pop

tada!
Love the new look, ladies! Wish I could pop in and see it in person (and then grab a cone from Sweet Rose Creamery).
