The following was in my Friday wrap-up post, but it bears repeating:
If you’re in LA, there’s a Paper Dolls Handmade Valentine Show Saturday from 11-7 at Reform School (3902 W Sunset). You can meet stationers Jill K in LA, Krank Press, and Paper Pastries as well as shop their collections. To further tempt you, during the day there will be cookies, brownies, and cupcakes and from 5-7, champagne! Sounds like a fun event!

I’m slowly starting to see the beginnings of the beginnings to spring. Oh, there’s snow on the ground and all, but the sunlight feels ever so slightly stronger (plus, it’s not dark at 4:30 anymore!) I cannot believe how quickly this week flew by, which is also helping us progress to spring. Now I just need to figure out how to use my day more efficiently. Perhaps a little less tweeting?
On with the Five:
- iPhone 30/365 Irish Coffee
- hope and union (i am dying to go here + it looks lovely)
- the last of the poppies
- untitled
- tutu-rose
Hope your weekend is full of fun (and not too much snow if you’re in the DC area). See you Monday!

Thrilled to have stumbled across Oak Park (IL) designer Leslie Hamer’s Unless Someone Like You work via the latest Minted design challenge. Love her simple, clean + fun style. (The Elliott! design just puts a smile on my face.) Check out the Unless Someone Like You website + blog, and click over to Minted to show her a little contest love!

The Row recently launched a gorgeous new website. I spent quite a bit of time clicking through the collections, focused on studying pre-fall (as it’s the newest). While the Olsen’s designs for The Row are more classic than avant garde, the fabrics and cut are beautiful. (And luxe basics are fine by me.) I have my eye on the three looks shown + cannot wait for online shopping to launch this fall. (And since I’m all about jeans right now, I’m wondering how these will fit. They look stylish + yet so, so wearable.)

love!

really like this black jacket + faded jeans

I’m head over heels for Fresh’s Desire gloss absolute. The scent is lemon sugary + the color makes my lips just a smidge rosier + glossier than normal. The only way they could possibly improve it would be to make it a tube/wand instead of a pot.
