Dear Erica and Sam:
You have some of the most creative + cheerful wedding paper accoutrements ever. Not only am I smitten with your verbose and witty save-the-date, I’m also in love with this wedding program, full of facts + quizzes. Mr. Boddington was the perfect choice to showcase your personalities, making the whimsical most gorgeous. Congratulations + many happy years.
Best,
Jane

Rainy red carpet aside, the Golden Globes were mostly satisfying. A big yay for Mad Men, Glee and Alec Baldwin (wish Alec were there to speak). I somehow missed Julianne Moore’s entrance in this stunning Balenciaga gown, so I’m grateful for the Style.com slideshow. Click over and see what you missed.
Back tomorrow.

Lovely, lovely looks from Giambattista Valli. Simple + wearable yet undeniably stylish. The pleating in the dress above? Gorgeous. (Tiny waist not included.) And the black coat? Completely fabulous. See the complete collection at Style.com.

Happy Friday! I spent Thursday listening to the best sound ….. snow melting. A little reminder that spring will eventually arrive in Chicago. The paperwhites I planted right before Christmas are just about to bloom, and that’s adding to my springy frame of mind. A good thing, to be sure.
This weekend, the boys are taking a mini ski vacation to Park City. I’m staying behind, which means by Sunday night the house will be sparkling + I’ll be ready for a glass of wine + Ricky Gervais hosting the Golden Globes. Sounds good, right? Just have to figure out where to pick up dinner :)
On with the Five:

By the way, Courtney turned me on to fffl*ckr this week, and it is a most excellent + useful way to dig deeper into flickr (as well as lose track of an hour) by giving you a smattering of your favorite photographer’s favorites. I just love it, and find myself visiting often for a photo fix.
Have a lovely long MLK holiday weekend! I’ll be back blogging on Tuesday morning.

Although the probability that you’ll see me wearing a print is near zero, I do adore this dress (and print) from Tuleh’s pre-fall collection. See the full show at Style.com.
