Parcel’s letterpressed leaf notes are perfect for fall. I love the updated Parcel website, too: their sweet shoppe sampler is particularly enticing.

I had been meaning to check out Birchwood Kitchen all summer, and so it was serendipity when we went to pick up the kitchen ceiling paint and saw it just a couple of doors away. If you’re in Chicago, you really must go. Simply fresh + yummy sandwiches (and excellent chocolate chip cookies: I’m beginning to think I should write a field guide for chocolate chip cookies and Birchwood Kitchen’s are right up there.) I hope to get back and enjoy brunch on their patio while the weather is still warm. Check out the menu online (pdf).

This Celebration Set from Duet Letterpress makes me want to have a party. Adorable!

I love eat.shop guides. The books are compact, pretty, and they really help you find the unique and local bits of a city. (And make great gifts for friends who are moving, by the way.) This week, the eat.shop website relaunched with a fresh + clean look. Check it out, and join me in eagerly anticipating the iPhone apps. (Looks like the lucky app cities are Miami, New York, Portland, and Paris.)
I’m still loving the classic, minimalist style of Düller notebooks. There is plenty more eye candy at the Idea International website (with English descriptions; clicking on the photos takes you to Idea’s online shop). For those of us who cannot read Japanese, Present & Correct also stocks the Croquis, the Weekly Scheduler, and the Pocket Agenda. Happy Back-to-School!
