I strongly suggest you pick up a copy of Elle Decor’s September issue. Theory Creative Designer Istvan Francer (and partner John Cummins) have the most gorgeous home in Connecticut. Above are the snippets that made it into my 2009 Inspirations notebook. What a kitchen!

Aren’t these die-cut squirrel tags darling? Makes me quite eager to see the rest of the fall/holiday collection from Missing Q Press.

the invitation suite
I got the October issue of HOW late last week (should be on newsstands soon) and my favorite piece in the Self-Promotion Annual has to be this letterpressed invitation suite by David Eller for Bureau of Invitations. Every detailed component of the invitation is letterpress – and it’s simply gorgeous. (Love the train theme, and a wedding in the garden of the Edgar Allen Poe Museum sounds pretty fabulous!) You can reach David through his Bureau of Invitations website, and if you’re in New York, this suite will be part of the AIGA 365/30 exhibit.

the invite
I don’t know what to say about these Summertime Picnic baby shower invites other than darling!!! The Richard Scarry characters are so, so perfect, and bring me back to many an afternoon with his Best Rainy Day Book Ever. Read more about what inspired Colleen’s design at her blog, Craft Lovely (craftlovely.com). (Full of cuteness, by the way. And stay tuned because she’s sharing more from this party later this week.)

Oh how I adore the new White Toast & Marmalade range from Emma Bridgewater. (But I still really, really want them to bring back Utility!)
