Did you ever doubt that I’d track down O-Check at the show? Sweet Bella, the exclusive US distributor, had much of the product on display, and after months of squinting at monitors and trying to choose, it was so nice to see it all. I think they’re spot on with design and color palette. I’m already seeing O-Check a bit more at boutiques here in the US. Hooray! (and thank you to Nina at Sweet Bella for allowing the pictures)

tape. i totally need this tape.
The tape pictured above is hard to see, but let me tell you: it’s graph paper checks and I need some yesterday. (And how about the notebook colors bottom left right? Gorgeous!)

That’s it for today! Back tomorrow with much, much more.
If you’d like to see better/close-up photos, all of the photos at my posts will also be at Flickr where you can enlarge and see more detail. I’ve created a Stationery Show set.

I think my whole fascination with letterpress/minimalism/wrap around labels started when I discovered Paper + Cup. So there was no way I was going to miss seeing them at the show. It was very busy, but I got my peeks and left totally happy. (Don’t you love the black walls?)

button alert!
I was totally smitten with the gorgeous calling card/business card options at Oblation Papers.

more cards!
The bottom left card (pictured above) reads “a token of affection from kathleen meyer”. Wouldn’t that make the best gift enclosure? Not to mention the cute line drawn animals, too. It was all good.

custom birth announcement
And cute circle-the-info cards get me every time.
Oblation is also launching wholesale single + boxed cards this year (can’t wait), so keep your eye out. There were contour monogram cards, printed on ultra-thick white cotton museum board, that were out of this world fab. Trust me. (Where is my photo, you ask? Good question.) I will be on the lookout for these, and when I spot them at retail, I’ll let you know. Of course, if you live in Portland, head on over to the Oblation shop in the Pearl, or at Bridgeport Village! So much to see.

letterpress card wall
One of my longtime letterpress favs, Egg Press is such a fabulous line. With die cuts and modern patterns, Egg Press is full of fun and gorgeous to boot. (And hooray! In August there will be Egg Press wrapping paper!)
If you click over to the Egg Press site, you can see the video “Egg Press Work and Whirl”, helping mark their 10th anniversary. Make sure you not only watch, but listen. The music is catchy.

I think that Paper Medium is my favorite find from the show. How sweet are designer Sung Yoo’s illustrations? And happy news: you can buy the cards (or place a custom order) at the Paper Medium website.
