Love this simple + striking chair platter from artist Rae Dunn.

Not to mention this ultra-cool custom birthday plate. (The red numbers are fab!) I’m adding her shop to Google Reader so I don’t miss any updates.

Hello and welcome. The Speckled Egg is now Simple + Pretty, with a spiffy new website (and logo) designed by Courtney Eliseo at Seamless Creative. The posts are now searchable (hooray!), as well as organized into six categories: paper, fashion, design, living, photography, and miscellany. Just click on any of the category titles above to find relevant goodies. I’m pleased as punch with how it looks. Everything has been moved over and is ready-to-go, so update your bookmarks, and enjoy.
Huge thanks to Courtney (and Brian) for their hard work.
… big announcement tomorrow. I’m bursting with anticipation, so see you then.

Saw these lovely chairs (by artist Lisa Rupp) at Black*Eiffel. Then, when I visited Lisa’s blog, I discovered this cool postcard:

Yes, it says “Merry Christmas”, but I think it would make a terrific save-the-date, birth announcement, or party invite …. the fun you could have constructing and clueing the puzzle! Check out Lisa’s blog and website for more visual inspiration.

Can’t wait ’til it’s picnic weather. This picnic-themed wedding invitation suite from Alice-Louise Press makes me smile. The website has plenty of letterpress ideas from baby to bat mitzvah to calling cards, so be sure to visit.
