To escape the cold, I wouldn’t mind a road trip down south to Whataburger for a Whataburger Jr, fries, and a souvenir side order of ultra-cute coasters. (Spotted in Print magazine’s design annual.)

I recently received a sweet email from Anne Pageau, a graphic designer from Michigan who has recently launched Give Studio. Her online portfolio of letterpressed goodies contains single, boxed, and custom card options, but my favorite has to be the cupcakes card. It’s the perfect birthday card (or cheer up and have a cupcake card).
Thanks, Anne!
p.s. Don’t forget: there’s still time to enter the giveaway for Page Stationery holiday goodies! (Use the sidebar to find the entry. You have until midnight cst tonight to enter.)
I certainly hope that the forecasted 50% chance of above-normal winter temperatures happens. Because as I drove orchestra/band carpool on Monday morning, my car said it was 29 degrees, and I felt cold all day long. Oatmeal for breakfast; soup for dinner. Nothing helped. Ah, the charms of November. (My husband calls it “the coldest month”.)

Did you see Kiosk featured in Sunday’s T Magazine? I have to say: New York would bankrupt me in a matter of minutes: too many unique and interesting things to buy. Just looking through the online shop makes me feel all spendy.

and everyone’s favorite wire basket
(although i would not store gym clothes in it)
