One of my dream jobs since forever would be to work at a magazine. Which is why I’ll be tuning in tonight to Stylista, where hopefuls compete for a junior editor job at Elle (to get it, they’ll have to impress Joe Zee and Anne Slowey). Hey, it’s not like I need to watch the World Series ……

I’m a big fan of artist Jennifer Murphy’s animals. They’re sweet and adorable, and every time I see my mice and ducks, I smile. Plus, I envy her ultra-cool handwriting. Which is why I was excited to see that she’s expanded into baby shower invitations! I think these would be so much fun to receive. I hope you agree …. check out Jennifer’s Etsy shop for more details. (The custom invite is pictured here, but there is also a fill-in option.)

My new nephew should be here any day. Don’t you think he’d like this set of animal flashcards?

The latest issue of Selvedge has me thinking about sheep. As such, I want this book, and as someone who would be very happy living in a brick townhouse in the South End, this has me quite perplexed.

It’s weddings day at Daily Candy. San Francisco’s edition recommends 13 Creative, and I so agree. My favorite is this invitation set for Leslie and Eric, but you’ll want to click through designer Jenn Topliff’s portfolio, because there’s a lot of prettiness to see.
