Giveaway: Office of the Tooth Fairy

office of the tooth fairy letterpress certificate | simple pretty

I’m psyched for this special giveaway, and I hope you are, too. I spotted this “Office of the Tooth Fairy” kit in HOW magazine’s October self-promotion annual. Love the letterpressed “Certificate of Record” that you fill in with the information like compensation and method of extraction (!) for the first lost tooth. What a great keepsake this would make, all filled out and official. In addition, it comes with a tooth deposit bag for subsequent “deposits”.

Notion Farm was kind enough to send me a sample, and I’d like to give it away to a lucky reader. Here are the rules:

  1. Leave a comment (one per person, no anonymous) at this post by Tuesday, October 7 at 11:59 pm cdt.
  2. I will randomly select one winner from the eligible comments and announce the winner in a Thursday, October 9 post. The post will contain “giveaway winner” in the title.
  3. Here’s the tricky part: To find out if you’ve won, you will need to check Thursday’s blog post (it will be the post at 5:00 am) and then contact me with your mailing address by Tuesday, October 14 at 5:00 pm. If I do not hear from the winner by that time, I will redraw.
  4. US addresses only.

Good luck! And be sure to check out the official “Office of the Tooth Fairy” site for more information or to order your very own kit.

Special thanks to Jacquie at Notion Farm.

I love this calendar. Love. So much so that it warranted a Friday night post. Check it out here.

Okay, back to your Friday night plans …… which I hope includes listening to This American Life.

Friday Flickr Five

I had to turn the heat on for a couple of hours Thursday. When the house is meatlocker cold (like 64 degrees!) it’s time. I’m going to need a parka for Saturday’s 9 am soccer game. Not ready! Although I must confess, I loved wearing a sweater. If I could find perma-fall, that’s where I would live, I think. (Is San Francisco the closest thing to perma-fall?)

The rest of the weekend looks fun. Saturday night is my sister’s baby shower. (I’m stopping by Greer to pick up my present – all wrapped and ready to go – in the afternoon. Love Greer!) And I’m hoping to swing by DWR and pick up a catalog, as I need to check out the Tools for Living items. Plus, I may finagle a visit to my necklace (think Christmas? – or maybe I’ll try it on and hate it?) if I can twist my husband’s arm. As far as non-consumerist behavior, there are two options: the Newberry Library has a children’s book exhibit going on right now, or we may check out Chic Chicago at the Chicago History Museum. That’s actually close to Greer and the party, so more do-able. And Sunday? Sunday, I’m hitting my bakery, Green Prairie, for breakfast. This week’s special is creme brulee french toast and that’s pretty much all they had to say. I am there.

For bonus points, I’d like to see Flash of Genius, but that may get pushed back.

On with the Five:

  1. teatime
  2. Daniel’s dandelion
  3. miette
  4. Squirrel food
  5. Autumn Bokeh

I’m hoping to launch a giveaway over the weekend, and then I’ll be back on Monday with posts as usual. Enjoy the weekend!
