This was one of those collections that made my heart race. Each dress was exquisite, wearable, and pretty. I especially adore the ornamentation. Check out the rest of Monique Lhuillier’s fall collection and see if you don’t agree. Simply splendid. I’m trying to decide which of the above is my favorite. I think it’s the final one …. perfect green.

I spent Wednesday (another snow day/no school) web surfing and watching After Hours with Daniel, stranded by lots and lots and lots of snow. The show is great, except I was quite squeamish watching the tete de veau segment. Alright, I’ll admit it: I blocked the tv with my hand until that part was through …

Fashion Week – Narciso Rodriguez

I’ve had a thing for Narciso Rodriguez forever. Don’t make me pull out his People magazine profile that I saved! It’s somewhere in my hefty stack of tear sheets. I’m currently in love with this dress. I tried it on a few weeks ago (in the wrong size) and can’t stop thinking about it. He really knows how to make a dress pretty and architectural at the same time. Love the pieces above for fall. The center is the most wearable, I think. But anyone who can work some orange into the collection has my heart! Check out his full show at nymag.com.

Stay tuned for more fashion. More to love later. Maybe the September magazines will be great after all!

If you’re planning to rock some bold colors next fall, Chris Benz can show you how it should be done. (No hat, though. Please.) And lest you think this isn’t bold, you’re right. It’s relatively tame. But check out the rest of his fall collection!

Fashion Week – Adam Lippes

I liked these dresses from Adam Lippes (formerly Adam + Eve). Wearable, and goodness knows there’s not a whole lot of that going on so far this week! Visit the official site to see more.

A fun New York magazine feature is the 100 Most Fabulous and 100 Most Hideous looks. All of the dresses above scored well. So we’re in agreement.

Cross your fingers that the whopper snow misses us. Not ready for another snow day just yet.

And now for the winners: Giveaway #4 goes to Louise! And the redraw for Giveaway #3 goes to Jen! Please send me an email (visit my profile) with your mailing address, and when the streets are clear, I’ll head over to the USPS and get them on their way.

See you tomorrow!
