With Jil Sander back at the helm, the spring designs have a more austere (dare I say German?) feel than they did under Raf Simons. I’m curious to see how she evolves the line and what she has in store. The full collection is available to view at Style.com.

Can’t stop thinking about this dress from Emilia Wickstead. (I even like the plunging neckline!) See the full spring collection via British Vogue.

Co’s spring collection is packed with wearably chic looks. No surprise to learn that the design team is based in LA. Look 31 (my favorite) reads very “California”. Click through the complete show at Style.com.

The Complete Engraver (Princeton Architectural Press) is a new release that details the history of engraving. Author Nancy Sharon Collins, a New Orleans-based graphic designer and stationer**, has coupled a wealth of information (including the etiquette of social stationery) with a visual feast of elegant layouts + plenty of eye candy in the way of photos and illustrations. Though engraving is now more of a niche option for printed matter, it remains a romantic and powerful means of communication. I’m holding onto this book for frequent reference and inspiration.

Pared down basics in a muted palette (and black) from J JS Lee. Designer Jackie Lee (a Central Saint Martins graduate) is one to watch. Next time I’m in London, I plan to check out her line at Dover Street Market. The complete spring collection is available to view via British Vogue.
