I’m completely smitten with this look from Behnaz Sarafpour’s fall show. The fabric + detailing make for a very pretty, wearable dress. (And of course, black ballet flats never fail to impress.) See the complete collection at Style.com.

Oh my. Such a killer black dress. (glam neckline + pockets: enough said) I’m homed in on TSE’s dressier options, but you can see the complete fall collection, including some very snuggly-chic sweaters, at Style.com.

Jil Sander Navy’s fall collection is lamb to my mutton. Age aside, I can’t help but be charmed by the elegant silhouettes. See the full collection at Style.com.

I will never tire of perfectly minimal Japanese design. My latest obsession? Arts & Science, making utilitarian goods and treats (and clothing!) look so very appealing.

It’s February? So far (knock on any available wood) Chicago has escaped the wrath of “the worst winter ever” that was forecast ad nauseum this fall. Thank goodness, is all I have to say. Bring on any and all signs of spring. I’m ready.
Some of my January favorites at Flickr:
- morning fishing
- Its getting colder
- untitled
- rosé brut for no reason at all
- Iced
