Two quick fashiony things

photo from style.com
Can you believe Spring Fashion Week starts next Friday? I for one am giddy to see more from Cushnie Et Ochs, especially after falling for the ultra-cool dress pictured above. I thought for sure it was Narciso.
And iPhone users, the (free!) style.com app is now available! Get it at iTunes. It’s my second [...]

End of Summer Friday Flickr Five

I’m closing out the “first week of school” (hooray!) postings with a photo of the nifty little mechanical pencil I picked up on Wednesday. It’s from Zebra, and I love it. It gives a little personality to my Sudoku work. My son noticed my new office supply right away, and wants his own, so looks [...]

Did you see Paper + Cup’s presentation folders in September Domino? (I did.) You can now buy the blue version at Sugar Paper’s online store.

Mail Happiness thanks to the Card Society

I’m kind of stumbling through this first week of school. Haven’t found my “routine” yet, which leaves me a little lost. Maria’s August Card Society shipment arrived on Wednesday for a nice mail surprise. I love the letterpressed berries and peaches …. and the “sweet” couldn’t be, well, sweeter.

I’d like to add a new sans serif to my font collection. I think it’s down to the two pictured above. Care to weigh in? Vote, suggest another (better) candidate?
Looking at this post, it seems that neutraface no 2 is prettier [...]

Swedish bird prints

bird prints by swedish artist olof rudbeck the younger
I would clear a whole wall if I had bird prints as lovely as these. Huuuuuge want, made worse by not being able to find something similar online. The hunt continues.

Running behind (but time marches on)

It’s been a long time since we’ve had any good amount of rain, which means I am back to convening with nature on a regular basis, holding the hose over the thirsty flowers. The upside is that I’m forced to notice what’s “going on”. And I have to say, with the past few days on [...]

Fiddleheads

the fiddleheadsonline.com splash page
more to come
Add Lambertville, NJ to the places I want to visit, especially since I cannot read all about Fiddleheads at their website. Yet. Flowers + Edibles + Classes/Workshops? Sounds like my kind of store. Anyone have a review?
