Happy Holiday Weekend! I can’t believe we’re halfway through the year: summer seems to pass by in a flash, while winter, well, it lingers. (I’ll be clicking through these photos again in January for sure.)

    both the books i was reading yesterday described picturesque snow falls and for a moment i remembered how much i enjoy winter. but than i recalled just how long it took to get to the time when i could sit outside and read about such things… and i was grateful for summer once more. :)

    love strawberry shortcake to go. summer at its best.
