As I get ready to take blog vacation (tomorrow’s Flickr post will be the last for 2010), thought I’d close out the year with some amazing photography from Amy Neunsinger. It’s fitting really, as I discovered Amy earlier this year via House Beautiful’s feature of her sunlit LA home (and her incredible kitchen). Seems Amy is quite the talent: interior designer, creative officer at Cocodot, and gifted photographer. Look forward to seeing more from her in 2011. And for more of Amy’s photos right now (or during the holiday down time: it will come, I promise) click over to her photography portfolios, and enjoy.

Friday Flickr Five

lasalle street christmas tree, 2010 | simple pretty

Churning right along on the way to Christmas Eve: this weekend we’re having dinner in the city (an annual tradition) and perhaps meeting up with family & friends who are trickling into town. The cards are mailed; and most of the presents are wrapped. Time to enjoy the quiet before the storm.

On with the Five:

  1. a cup of cappuccino past
  2. {film.1078}
  3. untitled
  4. untitled
  5. jam

I always seem to get a second burst of energy once I realize that things are under control. (Does that make me a control freak? Probably, but I’ve learned to accept it.) Trying to treasure the joy in these last few anticipatory days. In that spirit, hope you find some joy this weekend as well. See you on Monday.
