Ina Garten never steers me wrong. Her recipes always look fantastic + taste delicious, and her Food Network show makes it seem so easy. What’s not to like? I’m headed over to the bookstore today to pick up her latest and greatest, How Easy Is That? Ina is touring right now to promote the book: click over to her website to see if she’s coming to your town.

moniak “boot” bag
So perfect for fall: ANTA’s carpet bags. Made from pure wool flat weave carpet remnants + accented with clever “tartan” straps, I’m yearning for one for my Mini’s “boot”. (Can’t you see it chock full of apples, or fall tailgate supplies? Hello, photo shoot!) Available in two sizes, utility and boot, through ANTA.

Happy Friday! We’re well into what I like to call “scarf season”. Part of fall’s allure is being able to dress up without becoming an Eskimo in the process. My daily uniform of tee + cardy + scarf + jeans + pretty black flats is good to go. And now that my scarf collection is growing (latest addition: “dusk” courtesy of a dear friend) I have plenty of ways to spruce up the vast amount of grey that is my wardrobe :)
On with the Five:
- week eighty-five
- our ridge
- Dead Man Tea
- untitled
- Meteor
As for the weekend, this fall’s soccer season has played out in game clusters instead of doled out, one per week. Which means that this weekend brings three (count ’em, three) opportunities to watch my buddy play. Am also hoping to work in a side trip to pick up a little honey.
Hope your weekend is full of delights! See you Monday.
