While I was in the Low Country for Easter weekend, spring burst out in Chicago. Everything is green green green, and it’s put me in the garden party mood. (The best kind of party, in my opinion.) I’d like to check out Recipes for Parties, out tomorrow, to get inspired for spring festivities. The cover is quite enticing.

Classic style + great colors means I love this bag. (The whistle is a creative twist, and would come in very handy at the beach, whether for a “Get over here now, kid!” or “I really need a frozen drink” kind of emergency.) Available in red and navy, or navy and yellow, from Jack and Lulu.

Enjoy the last bits of March. Here’s hoping it goes out like a lamb. See you back here on April 5.

If there were a way to tempt me to visit Minneapolis in March, this would be it: Lunalux is hosting another Stationery Saturday this weekend. The theme? A6 personalized notecards with adorable icons. Don’t miss it, Minneapolitans!

Loving these chocolate quail eggs. The packaging is so pretty I think it will make a fine Easter basket as is. (Hope I can persuade my buddy to give me a taste.) From Knipschildt Chocolatier.
