I am so ready for the weekend. I found ranunculus at the grocery store (insta bouquet for 8 bucks), it’s finally feeling a bit like spring, and oh yeah, the outdoor soccer season kicks off tomorrow. (Rain is forecast. Figures.) And on Sunday night, we’re going to see This American Life. Live. I’ve been anticipating this show for weeks, and it’s finally “that weekend”. Speaking of anticipation, my copy of the new Uppercase Magazine arrived on Thursday and I am eager to dig into it. It looks great! But for now,

I’m going to take a short blogging break on Monday (a little R&R after TAL) so I’d like to quickly wish R a fast and memorable Boston Marathon on Monday. I may peek back in again today, but if not, I’ll see you all on Tuesday.
Enjoy the weekend.

Saw this save the date in the latest New York Weddings magazine, and loved it. I actually read all 1001 words, and it made me smile. Click here to read their story, and to get a better look. Designed by Mr. Boddington’s Studio.

I am just bananas for the work of artist Cynthia Warren. Her hand-painted designs are so detailed and intimate: with a vintage feel and muted color palette, they are perfection. I hope you agree.

I just adore this simple birthday menu. (pencil love!)

I could spend hours in this cute studio poring over her creations. The wires above are full of prettiness.

I’m trying to pick paint colors for our kitchen and master bedroom. Murobond natural paint, from Australia, has some pretty colors with some fab names (an unfortunate but important criterion.)

I wouldn’t mind having Tyler Doran at Heir assist me on some interior design work. Check out a few favorite photos below. Seems like an ultra-cool shop to visit, too.

And oddly enough, I discovered Heir via New England Home magazine, on the newsstand in Santa Monica, CA.
