Another great spot for inspiration was the Museum of Modern Art. It was perfect for a rainy Sunday morning. (It rained a lot while we were there.) We walked through all of the galleries and I captured a few favorites with my iPhone. Next up, see what we found in the fit shop.

Martha Stewart Living’s team has launched a new blog: The Crafts Dept. I’m excited for the chance to peek behind the scenes at the goings on of a most talented group of people. Into the reader it shall go.

I fell in love with Design SangSang/Wdaru’s packaging for Maum. These could be the cutest tea bag holders ever – I love how they peek out over the edge of the cup. So original + so, so sweet. To see more photos, visit Wdaru’s site.

Jackson Square could be one of my favorite areas in San Francisco. We were there on Valentine’s Day, and it was a nice quiet way to spend the rainy afternoon.
William Stout Architectural Books, our destination, was even better than I’d hoped. The photo below gives you a good idea of the shop’s interior:

I spent most of the visit downstairs in the graphic design section. Lots and lots of tempting titles, including the Shop Identity series I’m so smitten with. (Even the 11-year-old was busy exploring!) In the end, I decided to buy Simply Packaging. My next post will explain why.
