Saw this yogurt at Fox & Obel on Saturday. Didn’t buy it (we had no way to keep it cold) but next time I see it, I’ll be ready.

Option B is this O-Check weekly scheduler from Notemaker (Australia). This could be the most minimal planner ever, no extras, just lots of boxes, but as I have recently fallen under the spell of O-Check, it’s my favorite. No bells and whistles, but …

…. since I’d already be placing an international order, I would pick up something Christmasy from O-Check while I was at it. Like these bags (or the Santa card)?
Have an opinion? Or have something better? More perfect? (Laurel Denise had the most perfect one ever, but only in 2008, and I didn’t realize it existed until July!) Let me know. Leave a comment. And thanks in advance for your help!

I’m still plugging away at reduce reduce reduce (with a little reuse and recycle thrown in for good measure). Going forward, one thing I’m planning to cut back on for 2009 is magazine subscriptions. I love when magazines arrive in my mailbox (some might say a little too much) but I spend waaaaay too much time reading them all. I’ve already cancelled one and I have a couple others that I just will not be renewing when the time comes. Not to worry, Martha Weddings, Domino, Vogue, C, Elle Decor ….. you’re all safe. And the upside? I can actually get to some books! For example, yesterday I finally started Atonement.

I adore acorns, and these felted versions are really appealing. Gilly pointed me in the direction of lilfishstudios. Who doesn’t need pale duck egg felted wool acorns? (And I love the photo!)

The set above is brown, white and apple green. It’s also reserved (aka not for sale). Check out the lilfishstudio shop (out of Brainerd, MN) for more colors.
If you’d like your acorns by way of Boston, then truLuxe is for you. The set of five below is apple green. Pretty.

And finally, these pool and poppy acorns are just plain fun.

Any of these would add some cheer to a fall windowsill. Happy shopping :)
